I opened Verdant CrossFit in 2014. I bought CrossFit Acclaim in 2015 and CrossFit Refinery in 2017. In 2019 I opened Verdant CrossFit North in Star, Idaho.
I learned olympic lifting with Sean Waxman and in Russia. I ran cross country, indoor track, and outdoor track at Amherst College for 12 seasons. Before opening Verdant CrossFit I taught Russian and Russian literature at the University of Southern California and before that I taught high school in Mississippi. I was in Russia at various times with the state department through national science foundation grants. Here at Verdant CrossFit, Verdant CrossFit North, and Verdant CrossFit East we are proud to be CrossFit Affiliates.
