Jasmine (Jas) stumbled into CrossFit back in 2013, a few years out of serving  active duty time in the military and low-key freaking out about what was next. One workout after walking into a CrossFit gym, she was hooked. Not just on the sweat and the sore muscles (though those came too), but on the people, the high-fives, the shared grind. It reminded her who she was and showed her who she could be - strong, capable, and connected. When she joined Verdant in 2015, she knew: These were her people and Verdant is her 3rd home.

Movement has always been a part of her life - ballet, gymnastics, track, cheerleading - but CrossFit flipped the script. It challenged every idea she'd ever heard about what women “should” be and replaced it with something way better. What they can be: strong, powerful, unapologetically badass.

She has also been on the other side as an injured athlete. That’s where she learned the hard but necessary lessons about longevity, adaptability, and how to keep showing up, even when your body isn’t cooperating. CrossFit taught her that it’s not just about pushing hard - it’s about playing the long game. Strength isn’t just for the gym; it’s for life.

She became a coach because she wanted to give back what she gained while being at Verdant. She helps people close the gap between where they are and where they want to be - in fitness, nutrition, recovery, and mindset. She is here to support real, lasting change. The kind that sticks. The kind that’s built from small wins stacked over time.

When she is not coaching, she is deep in the work of organizational change management at St. Luke’s, helping the organization and teams navigate big shifts in ways that actually work for humans. Outside of all that? You’ll probably find her hanging with her dog (Ralphie) and friends/family, trying some local food and coffee spots, reading something, or hyper focused on her latest craft project.
