Maria is from Kimberly, ID and grew up playing basketball (with Verdant North coach Bailey Walker). She began CrossFit in 2022 when she entered her 30s with no fitness routine and was immediately hooked on the endless opportunities to improve and grow that CrossFit offered. After relocating to Boise, she joined the Verdant community and is inspired and encouraged by other athletes daily. Maria loves burpees, all machines, and snatching.
